The most common risk in casting is not a bad job. It is a stranger who says they are casting, collects photos and measurements, and is never heard from again. Company verification exists to make that harder.
What verification is
A company account submits identity documents and they are reviewed. Until that review is complete the account is a registered company, not a verified one — and the difference is visible on every profile it visits.
What it unlocks
- The full card. Measurements, sizes, portfolio detail and contact information are shown to verified companies. An unverified account sees the public part of a profile and a clear explanation of what is missing and why.
- Locked album requests. Only a verified company can even send a request to view a talent's locked album. The talent still has to approve it.
- A verified badge. Talent can see at a glance who passed the check before deciding whether to reply.
What it does not unlock
Verification does not give a company the right to anything a talent has not agreed to. It does not open private photos automatically, it does not hand over anyone's phone number, and it does not let a company publish or reuse someone's images outside the job they were booked for.
Why we put the gate on the company side
Talent is asked to publish professional data — height, measurements, sizes. That is normal in this industry and it is exactly what a casting call needs. It is also data that should not be readable by every anonymous visitor. So the burden of proof sits with the side that wants to see it: the company verifies, the talent decides.
If you are a company
Verification is a one-time step for the account, not per casting. Do it once and the full talent pool opens up, including the ability to request locked albums. If you post a casting before verifying, your listing still works — talent can apply — but the professional half of their card stays closed until the check is done.
If you are talent
Check for the verified badge before you send anything beyond what is already on your public card. If a message asks you to move the conversation somewhere else immediately, or asks for photos before showing you what the job is, report it. Blocking and reporting are available on every profile and every conversation.
